Three shops were gutted and a firefighter was injured in a fire incident in Bandipora district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. According to Kashmir Media Service, the fire broke out on the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday in a shopping line in the Qazipora area of the district, an official said. He said soon the firefighters from the Fire and Emergency Department were called in who reached the site to douse the raging flames. In the incident, 3 shops belonging to one Mohammad Yusuf Jan were gutted, while timely action by firefighters saved the fire from spreading further, he said. Moreover, a firefighter identified as Amin Rasool suffered minor injuries during the operation.—KMS
