PESHAWAR – A 4.7 magnitude earthquake jolted Peshawar and surrounding areas on Wednesday days after a series of quakes hit Karachi.
The Seismological Center reported that the intensity of the earthquake was recorded at 4.7 on the Richter scale, and its epicenter was in the Hindu Kush mountain range in Afghanistan.
According to the Seismological Center, the depth of the earthquake was 211 kilometers underground.
Due to the tremors in Peshawar, panic spread among the citizens, and people came out of their homes and offices.
