Deputy Commissioner Hafizabad Sundas Irshad inaugurated Plant for Pakistan Tree Plantation Campaign. to plant sapling at government associate collage for women Hafizabad, on Thursday. MPA MianAuon Intisar Bhatti, AC Pindi Bhattian Rashid Iqbal, prominent personalities including Sheikh Gulzar Ahmad, Tahawar Hussain Tarar, and other officers also planted saplings in connection with Plant for Pakistan Tree Plantation Campaign.
ADCG Hammadullah, DO Forest Rana Zafar Iqbal, Deputy Director Colleges Muhammad AzharJanjua, Chief Officer District Council Shahzad Akther, Deputy Director Local Government Nazia Hashmi, Principal Nasreen Akhtar, Professors and students participated the Tree Plantation Campaign.
Talking on the occasion, DC said that tree plantation campaign would be helpful to challenges of climate change to make the country green, attractive, pleasant and to provide healthy atmosphere for new upcoming generation.
DO Forest told on the occasion that 45000 saplings would be planted during a month and saplings were being planted in government institutions while local government department was stated this campaign at union council level.
MPA Mian Aoun Insisar Bhatti, AC Pindi Bhattian Rashid Iqbal and Chief Officer MC Pindi Bhattian Ikramullah Sundhu inaugurated the campaign to plant saplings at Tehsil Complex PnidiBhattian.
