Deputy Commissioner Lahore Danish Afzal has been transferred and Mudassar Riaz appointed as the new Deputy Commissioner Lahore. On becoming a competent officer, Danish Afzal was appointed MD Punjab Small Industries Corporation. Danish Afzal also worked on the additional charge of Commissioner Lahore Division three times on the change of Commissioner Lahore. The Services and General Administration Department (S&GAD) issued the notification. Newly appointed Deputy Commissioner Lahore Mudassar Riaz Malik said that according to the orders of Sardar Usman Bazdar, Lahore will see improvement. Improving Lahore’s problems will be my first priority. Work on development schemes in Lahore will be completed on time. The doors of my office will be open to all inquiries. We will focus on improving the sanitation system in Lahore.
Mudassar Riaz, a 19th grader officer, belongs to the 33rd Common of the Pakistan Administrative Services Group. He has also been Commissioner DG Khan, Special Secretary Home Punjab, deputy Commissioner Officer DCO Jhang and Multan. Mudassar Riaz was serving as MD Punjab Small Industries Corporation in those days. The Chief Minister had interviewed some officers for DC Lahore a few days ago. After which it was decided to appoint Mudassar Riaz Malik as Deputy Commissioner Lahore.
