Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar said that the nation is inundated and pays tribute to volunteers of Al-Khidmat Foundation for serving the masses without caring for their lives during Corona pandemic. He said the entire nation proud of Al-Khidmat Foundation volunteers who are the true heroes.
Governor Ch Sarwar was addressing a ceremony held to honor Al-Khidmat Foundation (AKF) volunteers who performed duty during Coronavirus pandemic at Governor House here on Monday.
The AKF organized the ceremony to honour its volunteers over their selfless services during Corona pandemic. AKF Senior Vice President Ahsanullah Waqas, Vice President Dr Mushtaq Mangat, Central Punjab President Ikramul Haq Subhani, Lahore President Abdul Aziz Abid, AKP district presidents from across Punjab and a large number of people from all walks of life attended the ceremony.
The governor said that a wall is being established at the Governor’s House to pay tribute to Corona heroes, saying that names of AKF volunteers will be atop of the wall.
In his speech AKP Central Punjab President Ikramul Haq Subhani lauded the Punjab governor’s contribution for the foundation’s projects, saying that Ch Sarwar always assisted the AKF in its public service.
