Two Kabul-bound flights from Doha, Qatar, carrying Afghan diplomats made emergency landing at Islamabad International Airport due to bad weather conditions on Wednesday.
According to airport sources, As many as 14 members including Afghan diplomats and crew members were on board the two flights.
The immigration authorities also granted special permission to the Afghanistan ambassador to take the guests with them. Afghan diplomats were shifted to the Afghan Consulate in the consulate’s vehicle. —INP
