Irregularities have taken place during balloting of plots for ‘Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme’ (NPHS) Hazro.
Blue eyed and well off people have been given plots in the aforesaid scheme which is complete violation of the rules.
MPA Jahangir Khanzada from PML-N alleged this while talking to this journalist.
He said that basically this housing scheme was for the residents of Hazro but now mostly people from other districts have been given plots which are beyond comprehension.
He said, some of the plots have been given to members of the same family which arises questions.
He said, five plots have been allotted to five sisters while three other plots have been allotted to another family that too from other districts. He said that in this colony 400 plots are of 3 marla and 190 plots are of 5 marla.
He said that authorities must take notice of the irregularities and cancel allotment of those plots given to those who do not fulfil the criteria.
He said that in this context he had submitted a resolution in Punjab Assembly and demanded an inquiry at appropriate level.
District President PTI Attock Qazi Ahmed Akbar who was present on the day of balloting when contacted for his comments said that balloting had been done by PITB in a transparent manner and no violation of the rules and merit had been done.
