Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) Sindh on Monday showed concern that a doctor was again attacked and injured by some unknown people.
According to the reports, Dr Imran Ghauri was performing his night duty at Taluka Headquarter Hospital (THQ) at Shehdadkot.
During this period, some unknown people reportedly under influence of wine attacked the doctor and seriously injured him. Police arrested one of the attackers, Mohsin Khawar and put him in the lock up.
PMA Sindh strongly condemned this act of brutality and demanded foolproof security to the doctors who are performing their duties.
PMA Sindh wants that these kind of incidences should not happen and doctors should be provided a safe and stress free atmosphere to deliver their duties with peace of mind.
PMA Sindh also demanded quality medical care to the injured doctor and immediate arrest of all culprits involved in this heinous crime.
