The National Highway and Motorway Police (NH&MP) Sector-1, M5 Bate No 22, set up a colourful flag stall at Sham Kot Toll Plaza in connection with the Independence Day celebrations.
It was inaugurated by Sector Commander SP Rana Sarfraz Ahmed. On the occasion, he said that the forefathers have rendered multifarious sacrifices for the creation of this country. “After sacrifice of millions of lives, we were liberated.
Today we are celebrating this day to renew our commitment”, he pointed out, adding that today, they reiterate the pledge to make all kinds of sacrifices for the development of this country.
He asked those traveling on the motorways to observe the principles of road safety along with the celebration of independence.
He distributed flags and badges to passengers. Regarding Independence Day, stalls have been set up at all toll plazas of M5. DSP Muhammad Hassan Bhatti, Sajjad Gondal, Gulzar Hussain and other officers were also present.
