A 12-year-old housemaid sustained fracture on her backbone along with other injuries after she was pushed off rooftop by her owners.
According to sources, she was thrown from the roof of the house where she worked with her belongings. Resultantly, she suffered fracture in the backbone.
The housemaid was rushed to Allied Hospital in critical condition. Later, instead treatment, the girl was handed over to her heirs by the house owners to cover their crime.
The police, however, said that the housemaid was a resident of Lahore and the family took the girl with them. The civil society activists have demanded stern action against influential homeowners.
