Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar, while setting another example of public service, held an open Katchri at 90-SQA on Saturday for four hours and listened to the people’s problems of the remote areas of Southern Punjab.
The Chief Minister met with hundreds of people individually in the open Katchri and issued instructions on the spot to resolve their problems.
On the special directive of the Chief Minister, secretaries, police officers, and concerned officials of 15 departments of South Punjab were also present on this occasion.
Women from far-flung areas also participated in the open Katcheri. Usman Buzdar listened to their problems and assured them that a prompt action will be taken to redress their grievances.
The Chief Minister while talking on this occasion said that he is a public representative and will leave no stone unturned to resolve the peoples’ problems. Delay in providing relief to the people will not be tolerated at all, he warned.
Usman Buzdar said that solving public issues is his responsibility and we will sit calmly until the problems of the people of backward and neglected areas are solved. Usman Buzdar termed himself a lawyer of ignored and neglected people.
He said that his relationship with the people has become more strong. The incumbent government believes in work rather than a project of self-projection there for PTI government has delivered.
The differently able youth also met with the Chief Minister in the open Katcheri and apprised him about their problems. On which, Usman Buzdar directed the concerned authorities on the spot to solve their problems.
An elderly woman presented a picture of PM Imran Khan to the Chief Minister. Usman Buzdar expressed kindness to the girl who came with her mother.
Another female artist presented the chief minister his pencil sketch. The people while expressing their views in open Katchri said that no one can ever think to enter in the CM office in the past. They also applauded the Chief Minister.
They were of the view that Usman Buzdar has set a example of public service by opening the doors of his office for the common man.
They said that Usman Buzdar is serving the people in the true sense and solving their problems while considering its his own problems.
The Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister of Punjab and the concerned officials of the CM’s Office were also present on the occasion.
