Special Coordinator to CM Punjab Chairperson Child Protection Bureau Sara Ahmad has said that only well-protected children can guarantee the protected future of the country.
In CP& WB all important measures have been taken for the protection of children and their rights as well.
She was addressing an event organised by Child Protection Bureau in connection with World Children’s Day.
Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mehmood, Provincial ministers Yasmin Rashid, Ijaz Alam and Special Assistant to CM Punjab for information Hassan Khawer graced the event as chief guests.
Justice Rtd. Nsaira Iqbal, renowned social worker Musarrat Misbah, Designer Maria B, Member Board of Governors CP& WB also attended the event.
The event was managed with the cooperation of NGOs Search for Justice and Gosh. A great number of residing children of the Child Protection Bureau were present there.
While addressing the participants Chairperson Sara Ahmad briefed about the objectives, initiatives and performance of the department.
She said that the protection of children rights is our collective responsibility۔ in the event, children presented skits and performances. They also shared their experience regarding their life in CPWB.
