An MoU was signed in a ceremony organized in the Balochistan Secretariat on the occasion of Punjab CM’s visit, according to which the government of Punjab will construct a civil hospital in the Rakhni area of Barkhan.
The Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar and Chief Minister of Baluchistan Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo were the chief guests of the ceremony.
Secretary Primary and Secondary Health Punjab and Secretary Health Baluchistan signed the MoU.
Usman Buzdar, while addressing the participants said that the Punjab government would not only construct a hospital in Rakhni but also provide the necessary equipment and machinery for the hospital from its own resources.
He said that the Civil Hospital will be a gift from the people of Punjab to their Baluchi brethren. The hospital being constructed over the land of 15-acres will provide modern healthcare facilities to the people of Barkhan District and its suburbs. —APP
