Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry said on Saturday that the chapter of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif in country’s politics is closed and the government is in favour of bringing him back.
Speaking to a news channel on Saturday, he said that the corruption of the PML-N supremo has been proved in the NAB law and the pygmies of politics were making statements to try to increase their stature.
The minister said that the PML-N leaders had been disqualified on double count, one by the Supreme Court and secondly under the NAB law.
Fawad Chaudhry said that the opposition is not able to remove Sadiq Sanjrani despite being the majority in Senate. To a question about the judicial system, the minister said that we want the people to have more confidence in the judicial system.
Earlier in a tweet, Fawad Chaudhry said that those who wait for deals to return home will always remain dwarfs in politics. The minister said that Sharif family’s politics was the dark age of Pakistan and the direction of the winds was no longer in their favor. “When there is light, darkness disappears and this is what happened in Pakistan”, Chaudhry Fawad remarked.
