Directs to expedite anti-Corona vaccination drive
Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has directed the Commissioner Rawalpindi Division and concerned officials to take indiscriminate action against those involved in fleecing the customers in Murree hotels. Those extorting money from the tourists would not be tolerated as overcharging is unbearable; he warned and asked the administration to ensure that everyday items are sold according to the rate list.
Meanwhile, an ACS (Home) led committee would submit its report within 7 days for taking action against those responsible for negligence. Instructions have also been issued for short term, as well as long term planning, to avoid such incidents in future, the CM added.

In a statement, the CM expressed his concern over an increase in corona cases and maintained that the government was taking every step to protect the lives of the citizens.
The administrative machinery and line departments were fully vigilant to take necessary steps, he said and maintained that effective implementation on SOPs would help in overcoming the spread of this virus.
The citizens should fully observe SOPs for protecting their lives, the CM added.
