Reviews onsite development work at Ganga Ram Hospital
Punjab Health Minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid has stated that Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar want to provide top quality health facilities to people and will be completed within a short time. Eight Mother and Child hospitals are being developed in Punjab. The PTI government believes in spending public money on public alone. On important suggestions from SAPM Dr. Faisal Sultan we will further improve our departments.
Punjab Health Minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid and Special Assistant to Prime Minister Dr. Faisal Sultan visited the site of under construc-tion Mother and Child Block Ganga Ram Hospital here on Friday.
Special Secretary Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education Department Dr. Asif Tufail, DG Emergency Services Punjab Dr. Rizwan Naseer, MS Ganga Ram Hospital Dr. Athar, Vice Chancellor Fatima Jinnah Medical University Professor Dr. Amir Zaman Khan and members of the steering com-mittee were also part of the visiting team. Steering Committee mem-bers included Dr. Imran Waheed, Professor Dr. Ayesha, Dr. Naeem Majeed, Dr. Tayyaba, Dr. Salma and other doctors. Health Minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid and SAPM Dr. Faisal Sultan reviewed progress in different departments including Operation Theatre, Waiting Areas, Delivery Rooms, Private Rooms, Reception and Wards.
C&W officials and project director apprised the Health Minister and SAPM of progress so far. SAPM Dr. Faisal Sultan appreciated the contribution and services of Dr. Yasmin Rashid.
The Health Minister said, “We will make dream of Prime Minister Im-ran Khan a reality by opening the Mother and Child Block. This 600-bedded facility is one-of–a-kind hospital.
