Body of a missing toddler was found in pond here on Friday. According to details, four-year-old Awais Javed went missing from Band Road locality of Sheikhupura some one month earlier.
The children playing near the pond informed their families about presence of body of child after which Rescue 1122 was called. The Rescue personnel pulled out the body from pond and handed it over to police. The body was shifted to hospital where it was handed over to heirs after legal formalities.—INP
