Punjab Assembly (PA) Speaker Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi on Monday approached a session court to get order for registration of an FIR against elected Chief Minister Punjab, Hamza Shahbaz Sharif and PML(N) leader Rana Mashhood.
Mr. Elahi took plea in his petition above mentioned leaders and police personnel and others resorted to hooliganism at the PA premises and beat him up on the day of election of the new CM.
The application, filed through Amir Saeed Rawn Advocate, read that it had been 48 hours now since the complainant went to the police station for registration of the case, but the SHO was still to register it.
Meanwhile, The PMLN leader said that he hoped that the Supreme Court would make good decisions for the constitution and rule of law.
