The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) Wednesday decided to deploy the Pakistan army’s soldiers for the upcoming by-elections in the NA-245 constituency of Karachi.
The ECP has written a letter to the Secretary of the Ministry of Defence in this regard.
According to the letter, the ECP has requested to keep the Pak army’s soldiers on standby from July 26-28 to ensure transparent and peaceful elections for the constituency.
