The two-day first Punjab Strength Lifting Champi-onship which is going to be organized by Punjab Strength Lifting Association will be held today at Punjab Stadium National Strength Lifting Club Lahore from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The event is going to be participated by men and women players of the districts of Punjab. Men and women from schools, colleges, gyms and clubs have been invited to take part in the event and competition will be held in four categories of kids, junior, senior and master. The finals of the championship will be held on Sunday.
Guests would be welcomed by Sheikh Aftab MD (SJS), Shahid Mehmood Dar, former Chairman Pakistan Poultry Association, Shahid Iqbal Dar, Senior President National Bank of Pakistan, Imran Ali Butt ex-manager NBP PC Hotel Branch Offi-cials, Sohail Javed Butt, Waqas , International Golfer DSP Traffic Police Shazadi Gulfam, Nazar, Miss Sonia, body builder Esa Ali, International Strength Lifter Shahzad Gul, International Azam of Nankana, International Strength Lifter Abid Khan Adnan and Rao Zafar Iqbal.
According to the announcement of Organizing Secretary Aqeel Javed Butt, international Power lifter medals, certificates, trophies and title belts will be distributed among the winners.
