Four persons were killed in three different incidents during Eid Days in the district. According to details, a person Muhammad was killed in village Chani Thathalan when roof of his house was collapsed during rain on Eid day.
Meanwhile, Two children were drowned in the river Chenab while taking bath near village Chah Choora, on Tuesday Divers of Rescue 1122 are busy in search of dead bodies. According to eye witness, two children Zain and Ali Asghar were taking bath at the bank of the River Chenab near village Chah Choora, suddenly speedy waves of water taken them and they were drowned. ‘The third incident, an unknown carry van hit a field worker Ashiq Ali in village Rasulpur Tarar when he was on its way to field, as a result, he was killed on the spot. He was servant of prominent landlord Imdad Ullah Tarar. Meanwhile Deputy Commissioner Allah Ditta Warriach visited city Hafizabad, Pindi Bhattian and Sukheki Mandi to reviewed arrangements of drainage of rain water, cleanliness and lift of offal of sacrificial animals on the eve of Eid-ul-Azha.
