Two persons including a woman was killed while twelve other injured, four of them critical in three different incidents in various parts of Attock on Monday, police and hospital sources said. In the first incident, one man was killed and eight other injured, four of them critical when the pickup they were travelling collided head on with a tree on Tarbella road in the limits of Hazro Police station on Monday.
Police sources said that Imran Nawaz along with his friends was coming back to town on his double cabin pick up when reached near tool tax, he loses control over the vehicle due to over speeding and collided with a road side tree resultantly Imran was died on the spot while his other eight friends were injured. Umer Farooq, Zeeshan Ibraheem, Muneeb Khan and Mazhar Imran were shifted to Rawalpindi in critical condition.
Separately, a woman died while her three other family members injured when the car they were travelling fell in to road side ditch on Rawalpindi-Kohat road in the limits of Fatehjang police station. Police sources said that Danyial Mukhter was coming back to his village after receiving his father, mother and sister from airport when reached near Maghian, his car fell down in road side ditch as he loses control due to over speeding resultantly his sister was died on the spot while other three occupants of the car were injured critically.
While in the same police station limits, three rivals shot and injured Sadqat Ali in village Sepal over old enmity and fled away successfully. Respective Police registered separate cases and launched further investigation.
