Taking notice of artificial shortage of oil products in the district Hafizabad, officers of district administration took action against hoarders and profiteers and get registered 9 cases against owners of petrol pumps and oil agencies in the district, on Thursday.
According to details, on the special directions of Deputy Commissioner Umer Farooq Warraich, Assistant Commissioner Hafizabad Rab Nawaz Chadhar conducted raids of various petrol pumps and imposed Rs. 50000/= fine to owners of petrol pumps for selling oil products on arbitrary prices while 5 cases got registered with different police stations on the area.
