Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 8 will continue tonight with what should be another cracking game between Lahore Qalandars and Islamabad United.
As we get ever-so-close to the playoffs, most teams are nicely rounding into form and jostling for position on the points table which has already delivered some intriguing matches this year.
The same trend is expected to continue tonight when the two PSL powerhouses collide.

United hold the edge in this category with 9 games to 6 against the Qalandars but the Lahore outfit is on a three-game win streak heading into the contest.

All eyes will be on Abdullah Shafique who starred with a blistering 75 off 41 balls during his first game in PSL 8. Fakahar Zaman is also on a decent run with the bat while Sam Billings also looked in good nick in his first game for Lahore.
With the ball Lahore remains as strong as ever with Shaheen taking another five-fer just last night while Rashid Khan, Haris Rauf and Sikandar Raza remain a potent supplementary cast.
For Islamabad, Colin Munro and Rassie van der Dussen remain as crucial as ever while Azam Khan could be called into action once again.
Fazalhaq Farooqi and Abrar Ahmed could be their trump cards with the ball.

Both Lahore and Islamabad are in superb form heading into tonight’s contest having won three of their four games thus far.
Both the teams are on a two game win streak as well and tonigh’s contest could very well decide who finishes second or possibly even first in the PSL 8 table.
