Commissioner Gujranwala Division Naveed Haider Sharazi said that ‘Safai Nasif Eman Ha’ campaign would also be launched besides Tree Plantation Campaign while district administration and other concerned departments be focus on elimination of encroachment, to improve cleanliness and to renovate public places during the campaign.
While addressing a meeting of district heads of different departments at district complex Hafizabad, on Sunday, the Commissioner directed the officers to deliver special lectures to students in educational institution for promoting tree plantation and special campaign also be lunched to create awareness among people abut importance of tree plantation and cleanliness so that our urban and rural areas could be made Clean and Green.
The performance of government departments and pace of work on development schemes was reviewed in the meeting. RPO Gujranwala Haider Ashraf, DC Umer Farooq Warraich and DPO Dr. Fahad Ahmad also present in the meeting. The Commissioner directed the officers to start anti-kite flying campaign also for containing this deadly game.
