From Desi soap operas to Hollywood: A glimpse into Mehwish Hayat’s evolution over the years

Mehwish Hayat is epitomised as a top Pakistani diva. Her slender frame and killer looks have inspired fans ever since she made her debut on the small screen.

The 35-year-old earned her stripes with a various range of roles, including her role in Na Maloom Afraad, and the needle of her career graph moved up after the release of Jawani Phir Nahi Aani in 2015.

Meray Qatil Meray Dildar, Phir Chand Pe Dastak, Mirat-ul-Uroos, Ishq Mein Teray, and Unsuni are some of the hit soap operas under her belt.

Besides her bold look in Lollywood movies, Mehwish delighted her audience with several roles in local dramas which also raked several accolades. She then appeared in Actor in Law, Punjab Nahi Jaungi, Load Wedding, and 3 Bahadur.

Hollywood came calling soon, and she made her debut in a supporting role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe TV series Ms. Marvel, playing the character of Aisha, who has to shift from India to Pakistan before partition.
