The National Highways & Motorway Police (NH&MP) on Thursday recovered a stolen car and handed it over to its owner. According to the details, Shoaib Khalid R/o Gujrat on helpline 130 noted a complaint that his car No.LEC-171 silver Toyota model 2011 has been theft from his shop and through tracker its location found near Pabbi Kharian. Wireless operator immediately conveyed the message to officers of T-4. Officers of T-4 PO Amir Naeem and PO Altaf Hussain found the car LEC-171 at location 1416 NB but culprits left the vehicle and ran away.
Operational officer reached at the spot and informed the caller about recovery of the vehicle. Local police is also called on for further legal proceedings. The owner came at the spot along with local police station. The car was handed over to the owner in the presence of local police and the witnesses.—INP
