The caretaker government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has allotted portfolios to the newly inducted Special Assistants to the Caretaker Chief Minister KP.
According to a notification issued by the Administration department on Tuesday, PirHaroon Shah has been entrusted with the responsibilities of looking after the affairs of all important Revenue departments.Mr. Shiraz AkramBacha has been allotted Food department, Malik MehrElahiLabou and Mr. HidayatullahAfridi prisons. Consequently, the caretaker’s Ministers Adnan Jalil, Haji FazalElahi, Manzoor Khan Afridi and Shafiullah Khan, who till date had been holding the additional charge of the above departments, shell cease to hold the above-mentioned departments. It may be mentioned that PirHaroon Shah is a seasoned journalist of KP. He edits the leading Pashto language newspaper of the province Daily Wehdat.
Haroon Shah is the scion of Iconic newsmen Late PirSufaid Shah Hamdard who founded Daily Wehdat.
