Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has emphasized that a National Action Plan is needed to stop the wastage of water in the country. The minister was addressing a ceremony in Islamabad on Friday. He said we have to stop the wastage of water as we possess a large quantity of it. He stressed the need to chalk out a National Action Plan to conserve water. He said that we have got the same amount of water that we used to have
65 years ago. He confessed that in order to conserve water, we made some dams but some dams could not be built.
