Three persons including an Indian army man were injured in a grenade blast in South Kashmir’s Is-lamabad district.
The blast occurred during a cordon and search operation in Kokernag area of the district last eve-ning, officials said.
A top police officer told media men that last night a search party of Indian army that launched a cordon and search operation in Kokernag area was attacked with a grenade by unknown attackers.
In this incident, two civilians and a soldier were injured. All of them were shifted to a nearby hospital and their condition is stated to be stable. More details shall follow.—KMS
