The Punjab Home Department on Monday sent a proposal to the cabinet committee to double the fee for arms licence.
The Home Department has proposed to increase the fee for arms licence up to Rs50,000. The cabinet committee has approved the proposal. After the cabinet committee, the proposal will now be sent to the full cabinet. With the approval of the full cabinet, the Home Department will issue a notification for the new arms license fee.
