Police on Monday arrested 38 illegal Afghan immigrants from different parts of the city. According to police officials, 32 illegal Afghan immigrants were arrested from different areas of district Keamari while six were arrested from district Central.
In district Keamari, nine were arrested by police station (PS) Docks, seven by PS Jackson, three by PS Saeedabad, four each by PS SITE-A and Ittehad Town, and one illegal Afghan national was held by Madina Colony police station. In District Central, three illegal immigrants were arrested by the New Karachi Industrial Area police station and three by the Khuwaja Ajmer Nagri police station.
