Caretaker Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Azam Khan on Tuesday constituted a steering committee for the merged tribal districts to monitor special measures and various issues for development projects in these areas.
A notification issued here said that the steering committee would consist of ten members including the Minister for Merged district (MDs) as Chairperson and Special Secretary MDs Home and Tribal Affairs and Secretary of the committee.
The other members would include Special secretaries CM Secretariat, special secretaries Planning and Development, Finance, Health, Elementary and Secondary Education, Agriculture departments, Additional secretaries Mines and Mineral, Tourism and Law departments, members board of revenue nominated by SMBR,.—APP
