LAHORE – The Punjab government has announced a whooping increase in fees for learner driving license for car and motorcycle from January 1, 2024.
The development was shared by the Lahore Traffic Police on social media platform X, stating: “Govt of Punjab has increased licence fee from Rs 60 to Rs 1000 for Car/MC with effect from 1st January 2024”.
“You have a Golden time slot to get your Driving Licence at current rates till 31st December 2023,” it added.

The provincial government has increased number of offices for issuance of the licenses after people started applying for them massively following a crackdown launched by the traffic police.
