Special Advisor to Prime Minister on Human Rights (HR) MushaalMullick on Sunday hailed the establishment of the first-ever Association of Aesthetic Physicians of Pakistan (AAPP) and underscored the significance of aesthetic medicine on the occasion.
Addressing as chief guest the inaugural ceremony of the Association of Aesthetic Physicians of Pakistan (AAPP) Mushaal emphasized the alignment of AAPP with appreciation of beauty, as seen in the colorful and beautiful universe Allah has created.
She underscored the significance of aesthetic medicine, a field she described as both challenging and rewarding. This is the area we were lagging in and far behind other countries and it is a matter of pleasure and satisfaction that we have finally moved in this direction, she said.
The event also saw the participation of notable figures including Shahzad Ali Khan, Vice Chancellor of Health University, and DrAnees Ahmed, Vice Chancellor of Riphah International University.
DrSaminaMohsin, President of the association, and DrShamaila A. Khan, General Secretary earlier received the chief guest and gave a briefing about the AAPP and its background. Through aesthetic medicine we seek to revive the ancient method of treatment through aesthetic means and in this we have cooperation and support of estheticians from across the country.
MushaalMullick lauded the establishment of the first Aesthetic Association in Pakistan as a source of national pride, acknowledging the challenges inherent in aesthetic medicine and extending congratulations to the organizers.
Shahzad Ali Khan, Vice Chancellor of Health Services Academy stressed the importance of the aesthetic art and cautioned against blindly adopting Western ideals.
DrAnis Ahmed, Vice Chancellor of Riphah International University, emphasized the significance of aesthetic art, noting that everything created by Allah is inherently beautiful.
Earlier, in her welcome address, DrSaminaMohsin introduced the guests and presented a documentary on aesthetic medicine. She spoke about the growing global interest in this field, emphasizing its distinction from traditional beauty practices and highlighting recent academic advancements in aesthetic medicine.
The event concluded with Mullick and other dignitaries presenting commemorative shields to the guests, symbolizing the promising start of the Association of Aesthetic Physicians of Pakistan.
