It is mandatory to take an IELTS test to demonstrate English skills if your are planning to go abroad for study, immigration or work.

You should take IELTS Academic if you want to study at either undergraduate or postgraduate level anywhere in the world, or if you want to work in a professional organisation in an English speaking country.

IELTS General Training Test

You can take IELTS General Training to study at below degree level, work in an English speaking country or your own country and emigrate to an English speaking country.

IELTS Academic Fee in Karachi January 2024

There is a difference in fee for IELTS Academic Test on paper and on computer. As of January 2024, the British council receives Rs62,200 for IELTS on paper and Rs55,900 for IELTS Academic Test on computer.
