LAHORE – Lahore Development Authority (LDA) is responsible for new planned development in the Punjab capital city of Lahore.

The authority also regulates and issues permits for new construction and private housing projects, private houses, and commercial development in the city.

All housing societies run by the private companies are required to get registered with LDA by fulfilling the requirements. It takes action against societies, which are built illegally, in order to save citizens from losing their hard-earned money.
