Governor Sindh, Kamran Khan Tessori, has granted approval for the Registration (Sindh Amendment) Ordinance 2024. The ordinance, applicable immediately across the province following the Governor’s endorsement, empowers the public to electronically submit requests or documentation for property registration to the Board of Revenue from the comfort of their homes.
Under this ordinance, citizens can now complete the registration process online, including the verification of documents from the data repository, with notification of fee or tax payment deadlines communicated through SMS or email after document verification.
