The police arrested six accused of supplying kites in Lahore, recovered 700 kites and 30 string rolls during a crackdown here on Thursday. SP Ahmed Zunair Cheema said that the police on a tip-off conducted raid in Wahdat Colony during six accused involved in online purchase and supply of kites and strings from Peshawar and supplying them in Lahore were arrested.
The detainees included Ahmed, Haseeb, Zohaib, Imran and Iqbal. The police recovered 700 kites and 30 string rolls from their possession. The police registering cases against the nabbed kite suppliers have started investigations.
