KARACHI – The holy month of fasting, Ramzan 2024, is all set to begin next month (March) in Pakistan as affluent Muslims across the world are gearing up to find a reasonable Umrah package to spend the Islamic month in Makkah and Madinah.

Experts predicted that the first day of Ramzan 2024 would be observed on March 11 (Monday). However, a final decision about the start of the holy month will be taken by the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee after moon sighting.

It is for the first time Ramadan is going to start in winter season in Pakistan and other parts of world after 26 years. Experts said that the holy month will again be observed in summer season in 2031.
