Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed, the leader of Awami Muslim League, revealed his plans to abstain from active politics until after Ramadan while talking to media outside the Islamabad High Court on Tuesday.
The former interior minister expressed his reluctance to engage in political activities at present, citing a need to evaluate the situation before making any definitive decisions.
During a court hearing concerning multiple cases filed against him, Sheikh Rashid Ahmed petitioned for the dismissal of charges leveled against him in various regions including Abpara, Mochko Sindh, and LasbelaBalochistan. However, dissatisfaction arose regarding the report presented by the Sindh Police, prompting Justice Tariq MahmoodJahangiri to demand a detailed report from top officials within two weeks.
