KARACHI – Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi paid a visit to the mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, soon after landing in provincial capital Karachi on Tuesday.
Sindh CM Minister Murad Ali Shah, Governor Kamran Tessori and other senior leaders received Iranian president at Karachi airport. Strict security arrangements were made in metropolis while the administration declared a local holiday to avoid “inconvenience to people.
During his third leg in Pakistan, Iranian President visited Quad’s mausoleum where he was given a guard of honor. He laid floral wrath at Mazar of ‘Father of the Nation’.
Raisi is on a three-day visit to Pakistan and arrived in the country on Monday. Earlier today, he visited Punjab capital Lahore.
