LAHORE – Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz continues to fulfill her promises she had made after assuming the office.
She had promised to revive the Laptop scheme for students in Punjab and in latest development she has formally granted approval for it.
The decision was taken in a meeting regarding reforms in the higher education sector. She was also briefed on the laptop scheme and transport facility for students.
Speaking on this occasion, the chief minister emphasised the imperative need to enhance educational infrastructure, particularly in underprivileged regions.
Maryam Nawaz Sharif said it is top priority of the government to establish international standard universities in every district, alongside colleges at the tehsil level.
Laptop Scheme 2024 Launch Date
The chief minister has granted formal approval for the revival of the laptop scheme 2024 in the province. However, the date for the formal launch of the programme will be announced by the government soon.
Who is Eligible for Punjab Laptop Scheme 2024?
The free laptops would be distributed among college and university students across the province.
Apply Online for Laptop Scheme 2024
The government is expected to launch an online portal for registration of the Laptop Scheme so the students could apply online for it.
The details of the online portal will be shared here as soon as these are released by the government.
