In Sakro City, an ongoing dispute between the Kheera and Samaja communities escalated on Wednesday, leading to the abduction of four women Three from Kheera and one from SamJa community. The conflict intensified following a series of love marriages between Kheera youth and a Samaja woman, which ignited tensions between the groups.
In response to the abductions, the Kheera community staged a sit-in protest, blocking major roads and disrupting traffic for several hours. They informed the media that members of the Samaja community had attacked their village, opened fire, and kidnapped three of their women as retaliation.
The prolonged road closure caused severe distress among drivers in the intense heat.
