PESHAWAR – The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhuwa on Friday announced summer vacations for all public and private schools amid sweltering weather.
A notification issued by Education Department said the summer vacation will start on June 1 and continue until August 31 for primary students. For senior wing, the holiday break will start from June 15, 2024. In the upper cold districts, the vacation period will start in coming weeks.
Schools in colder region will close from July 1 to August 31. This schedule adjustment considers the cooler climate in these districts, ensuring a more balanced vacation period suited to the local weather conditions.
