LAHORE – The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) on Thursday continued operation against illegal commercial use in Lahore.
The LDA teams sealed more than 80 buildings in LDA Avenue-I and Jubilee Town for illegal commercial use. The sealed premises include private school, property dealer, laboratory, stores and offices.
As per the LDA officials, several notices were served to these buildings’ owners before carrying out the operation. Director Town Planning-II Azhar Ali supervised the operation which was carried out with the help of enforcement teams and Police.
LDA Director General Tahir Farooq has directed continuing indiscriminate operations against violation of building and parking bylaws, encroachments and illegal commercial use in Lahore.
