A notorious robber was killed, illegal weapons and snatched bike recovered after exchange of fire with police here on Friday.
According to details, the police on a tip-off regarding presence of gang of robbers raided a house in Hajipura area of Rajanpur.
Upon sight of police, the robbers started firing with led to an encounter.
In cross firing, a notorious robber Sindhlani wanted by police in various cases of murder, robberies and other crimes was killed while his accomplices managed to escape.
The police recovered illegal weapons and snatched bike from possession of the killed robber and his body was moved to hospital.—INP
