ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has cancelled his visit to Iran due to health issues, it emerged on Tuesday.
Following the doctors’ advice for complete rest, the premier has also canceled all his engagements.
PM Shehbaz Sharif was scheduled to attend the inauguration ceremony of the newly elected Iranian President, Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian.
Reports said Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar will now lead a delegation to Iran today. Under Dar’s leadership, the Pakistani delegation will attend the inauguration ceremony of Iranian President-elect.
