LDA demolishes 12 buildings for violation of bylaws in Lahore

LAHORE – The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) continued operation against violation of building bylaws in Lahore.
On Thursday, the LDA teams demolished/sealed more than 12 properties during operations against violation of building bylaws in Jubilee Town, LDA Avenue-I, Canal Bank Road and Raiwind Road.
Chief Town Planner-II Azhar Ali supervised the operations which were carried out by the enforcement teams with the help of heavy machinery and Police. As per the LDA officials, several notices were served to these buildings’ owners before carrying out the operations.
LDA Director General Tahir Farooq has directed continuing indiscriminate operations against violation of building bylaws and illegal commercial use in Lahore.
