LAHORE – Reports about the arrest of YouTuber Saad Ur Rehman, aka Ducky Bhai, are being shared online, while the social media star or his family members remained silent about the detention.
Sources familiar with the development said Ducky and his wife were held by Lahore police for allegedly showcasing weapons on social media accounts. A team of Organized Crime Unit sought action after the two shared pictures on Instagram.
As police conducted alleged action, citing display of illegal weapons online, social media users claimed that Ducky and Aroob landed in trouble for promoting ‘Qaidi Number 804’.
A clip also surfaced online, that shows YouTuber visiting a friend’s home with a premises number plate of 804, and people were quick to sniff the story under the wraps.
As some reports claimed Ducky was released after brief detention, no official statement has been issued, with followers expressing concerns for couple’s safety and hoping for their swift release.
Ducky’s arrest comes days after another TikTok star, Nadeem NaniWala was apprehended for using an illegal fancy number plate, ‘IK 804’.
The latest incident comes after Ducky’s wife Aroob fell victim to a deepfake video. The couple had even even announced 1 million reward for information to find culprit.
